Consolatha Lupembe Pre and Primary School
Consolatha-Lupembe Pre and Primary School was started in January 2015 after its founders had moved to Lupembe, an interior part of Tanzania. Having not found any English-medium school to which the founders could send their children, they realized there was a dire need for affordable, better quality pre and primary education for children between the ages of four to fourteen in Lupembe.
The school consists of nine modern classrooms, an administration block, three dormitories, modern toilets, a kitchen, stores and one staff house (which accommodates four). As of January 2019 the school has 300 pupils (270 boarding and 30 day pupils).
Consolatha-Lupembe Pre and Primary School is a private school located in Njombe district. The school is at Matembwe ward about 53 kilometers from Njombe town.
The school offers better quality education to children from four years to fourteen years of age. It is a day and boarding school using English language as a medium of instruction. The school reaches children from the Lupembe community and those from different parts of Tanzania. It serves children from middle and lower class backgrounds.
Consolatha Lupembe guides pupils to become confident, independent, productive and contributing members of society in a safe caring environment with assured sustainability. It provides strong academic and curricular programs with coordinated staff fostering intellectual, emotional and physical well-being of pupils. We believe in promoting respect, self-worth, and academic growth collaboratively enhanced by good communication, decision making and accountability.
